This is an introductory class to basketball as part of the Learn to Play sports program. The program features instruction emphasizing skill development set to the sport. Each week the program will feature 35 minutes of instruction emphasizing skill development set to drills using fun games to stress fundamentals and 20 minutes of actual game time. Teams will be formed each week during each session. A parent is required to attend and participate to assist with learning and positive reinforcement. This is a six week program. Participants will receive a Jr. Jazz 101 t-shirt. Register online, the Parks and Recreation Administration building or at the Park Center. Space is limited to the first 20 participants in each session.
Dates: January 6 to February 10
Cost: $35 Residents, $45 non residents
Times: 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
