Stretch & Tone - Tuesday and Thursday 9:00-10:00 AM
Regular stretching is a powerful part of any exercise program. Add stretching to your routine every Tuesday and Thursday. Cost is $15.00 a month or $3.00 a class.

NIA - Monday from 9:00-10:00 AM
NIA stands for Neuromuscular Integrative Action and means "with a purpose." This is an expressive fitness and awareness movement program designed to enhance, balance, and help you move in harmony. This is a holistic approach to blending the movements from Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, and dance. Cost is $10.00 per month or $3.00 per class.

Chair A'robics - Wednesday and Friday 11:15-11:45 AM
This class is great for beginners, those who have standing or balance problems, are easily fatigued, or for those who are in a wheel chair. This is an aerobic class done entirely from a seated position. Chair Aerobics offers you a great cardiovascular workout without any impact to your joints. This class is free of charge, but donations are welcome.

Strength Conditioning - Monday and Thursday 2:00-3:00 PM
This class is designed to build muscular strength, muscular endurance, increasing your balance, and improving flexibility. Strength exercises are also recommended for people who have osteoporosis, arthritis, or for those people who are overweight. This class utilizes hand and ankle weights, and is appropriate for all levels of fitness. Cost is $15.00 a month or $3.00 a class.

Yoga - Wednesday & Friday 10:00
Yoga is an ancient system of movements and breathing techniques. This class is designed to help you relax and rejuvenate your mind and spirit. Some of the many benefits of yoga include enhanced immunity, overall well-being, strength building, self awareness, stress reduction, relaxation, increased mobility and flexibility, as well as muscle toning. Yoga provides a low risk of injury to muscles, as well as a low impact workout. Cost is $15.00 a month or $3.00 a class.

Tai Chi - Tuesday & Thursday 10:30-11:30
A Chinese system of slow meditative physical exercise with a constant flow of energy and movement. Designed for relaxation, balance, and health. Cost is $15 per month or $3.00 a class.

Zumba - Friday 9:00-10:00
Zumba is a Latin based aerobic dance that combines a variety of music and moves. Burn calories as you increase you heart rate with fun, energetic latin dance moves. Cost is $10 per month or $3.00 a class.

U of U Exercise Volunteers - Tuesday & Thursday 12:30-2:00
During school sessions, student volunteers assist participants with their exercise needs in the exercise room on Tuesday & Thursday from 12:30-2:00. A balance class is also offered at 1:00. This is a free service with your exercise room fee of $5 per month or $1 per visit.
