The Authority is managed by a Governing Board of five trustees consisting of the members of the City Council.
A President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer is elected by the trustees at the annual meeting.
The purposes for which the Municipal Building Authority was founded and incorporated are to acquire, improve, or extend one or more projects and to finance their costs on behalf of Murray City, Utah, in accordance with the procedures and subject to the limitations of the Utah Municipal Building Authority Act (Utah Code Annotated) in order to accomplish the purposes for which the City exists.
Books and Records
Books and records are kept and are open for public inspection. Minutes of the proceedings of the Governing Board are kept, and approved minutes are published.
