The L. Clark Cushing Heritage Center is a recreation center for adults age 55+. The Center offers recreational and leisure-time activities, social services, nutritious meals, and educational, instructional, and cultural programs for the general health and well-being of senior adults. There is no membership fee, but some activities have charges to offset the cost. A complete schedule of activities and fees is located in the monthly newsletter.

The Center is funded and operated by Murray City. Operations of the Center are directed by the Center Director, Director of Public Services, and the Murray City Administration, with the Murray City Council responsible for establishing policy.
