The usable yard waste, tree limbs, and shrubs collected from our green waste trailer program is consolidated and stored at our Public Services facility until there is a sufficient amount to "grind" into wood chips for reuse.

These chips are redistributed to Murray City residents at NO COST.


Chips are given out on a first come/first served basis. Please call 801-270-2440 to check on availability.

When available, chips may be picked up on Fridays between noon and 3:00 p.m. at the Public Services facility, 4646 South 500 West. Enter through the gate on the north side of the building. City crews will load your trailer or truck.

NO CONTRACTORS PLEASE.
