Starting this November 2024, Murray City Power will begin replacing power meters on all homes and businesses throughout the city. This project is part of our ongoing efforts to improve service reliability and efficiency. Meter replacements will continue through 2025, with the goal of completing the project by the end of next year.
Key Information:
- When: November 2024 through the end of 2026.
- Where: All homes and businesses in Murray.
- Why: The new meters will allow for faster outage detection and enhanced energy management tools.
What to Expect:
- Replacements will occur during regular business hours.
- Power interruptions should last no more than a minute.
- No action is required from residents or business owners.
