Important Solar Installation Requirements
Starting April 2025, new requirements for solar installations will take effect in Murray City. To ensure compliance and maintain high standards of safety and quality, all solar professionals must have the following certifications and licenses:
- S200/S202 Electrical License:
- This license is mandatory for electricians working on solar installations.
- NABCEP Certification or Equivalent:
- All solar installation professionals, including sales teams and engineers, must have relevant certifications from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP).
- Sales Teams: NABCEP Sales Certification is required for all individuals involved in solar sales.
- Engineers: NABCEP Engineering Certification or an equivalent is necessary for engineers working on solar projects.
- Installers: Starting in April 2025, a NABCEP Installation Certification will be mandatory for all solar installers in Murray City. These certifications are crucial to ensure that solar installations in Murray City meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Please take the necessary steps to acquire these certifications before the April 2025 deadline.
