Role and Mission Firefighters in Action

The role and mission of the Fire Department is to provide fire protection, fire prevention, and emergency medical services to the residential and business population of the City, with a well-trained staff in an organized and safe manner, at minimal cost to the City, and to cooperate with other departments within the City.
