Streets Division

Our Team

This Division consists of 21 Full Time Employees and two Seasonal Employee's. Each team handles set responsibilities and tasks throughout the city. In doing so each team member brings their very own skills and expertise. 

Murray City Streets

The streets department handles a wide variety of tasks throughout the city, all year round.

The main duties of the Division are:

• Roadway construction and maintenance
• Road cut patching
• Road signs and lane striping
• Traffic control
• Large landscaping projects
• Weed maintenance
• Green waste recycling
• Snow and ice removal
• General Citywide clean-up
