Road Patch Program

This crew consists of four full time employees.

Normal job duties consist of:

Placement and compaction of back fill materials for city Departments and private contractors.
Placement of "flowable" fill materials for roadways under State jurisdiction.
Placement and proper compaction of asphalt materials in road cuts and trenches.
Saw cutting of various surfaces.
Inspection and tracking of contractor back fill and patching operations.
Curb and gutter removals.
Welding, cutting and fabrication of metal projects for all City departments.
Full participation in all major paving projects.
Snow removal operations.
Flood control.
Traffic control.
