DAILY FITNESS CLASSES

EASY FLOW YOGA - Thursday at 9:00 - 9:45; $5 month - Gentle, slower-paced mat yoga linking simple poses with mindful breathing. Builds flexibility, balance, and strength. Must be able to transition from floor to feet gradually. Must be able to transition from floor to feet gradually. 

FACE YOGA / LYMPATIC DRAINING - Monday at 11:20 - 11:40; Free for January 2026 - This class uses light, easy movements to help your lymphatic system do what it does best—keep you de-puffed, de-stressed, and moving smoothly. Come give your body a little tune-up! 

LINE DANCE (BEGINNING) - Tuesday at 1:15 - 1:45; $5 month - Learn basic steps and AB dances with clear, repetitive instruction so you can follow along with confidence.

LINE DANCE - Tuesday at 2:00 - 3:00; $10 month - Dance in rows to choreographed step sequences. For those familiar with step names, includes 4-wall dances and 24-48 count choreography.

MARTIAL ARTS - Wednesday at 12:00 - 1:00, $10 monthThe program will feature Bihonte Martial Arts which includes an empty hand system of combat emphasizing many powerful hand and foot techniques and adaptations of street kickboxing. Learn powerful hand sets and techniques of defense. 

NIA - Monday at 9:00 - 10:00; $15 month - Neuromuscular Integrative Action (NIA) is an expressive fitness and awareness movement program designed to enhance balance and help you move in harmony. 

POP CORE - Tuesday at 9:00 - 9:45; $5 month - Combines mat-based moves, flowing sequences, and upbeat tunes for a low-impact class.

QIGONG AND TAPPING - Wednesday 10:00 - 10:45; $5 month - Combination of the ancient Chinese practice of Qigong which is gentle and mindful movement, meditation, and tapping techniques to help balance life energy.

STRENGTH CONDITIONING - Monday at 1:30 to 2:30, $10 month; Thursday at 1:30 to 2:30, $10 month - Build strength, balance, and flexibility through guided resistance training.

TAI CHI - Tuesday at 10:30 to 11:30, $10 month; Tuesday at 11:45 to 12:45, $10 month, Thursday at 10:30 to 11:30, $10 month, Thursday at 11:45 to 12:45, $10 month - Gentle "moving meditation" to improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and overall wellness.

TRIPLE G (Glutes, Guts, Guns) - Monday at 9:00 to 9:45, $10 month; Friday 9:00 to 9:45, $10 month - Tone arms, abs, and glutes with a mix of dumbbells and bodyweight training.

TRX (Total Body Resistance Exercise) - Tuesday at 8:45 - 9:15; $5 month - Full-body workout using TRX straps for strength, cardio, and posture.

TRX (ADVANCED) - Thursday at 8:45 - 9:40; $5 month - Full-body workout using TRX straps for strength, cardio, and posture. Must be able to transition from floor to feet.

TRX (INTRO/BASIC) - Thursdays at 9:45 - 10:15; $5 month - Full-body workout using TRX straps for strength, cardio, and posture.

YOGA - Monday 10:00 - 11:00, $15 month; Wednesday 8:30 - 9:30, $15 month; Wednesday 9:30 - 10:30, $15 month; Thursday 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm, $15 month - An ancient system of movements and breathing techniques designed to help relax and rejuvenate your mind and spirit. 

ZUMBA GOLD / DANCE FITNESS - Friday 9:00 - 10:00, $10 month - Zumba Gold is a lower-intensity version of the typical Zumba class and was designed to meet the anatomical, physiological, and psychological needs of seniors. 

MONTHLY FITNESS PASSES

$10 - CHAIR YOGA PASS - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday at 10:30 - 11:15 - Gentle yoga with core-strengthening and lymphatic face yoga—all from a chair. Improves mobility, balance, flexibility, strength, and relaxation. 

$5 - SEATED FITNESS PASS (includes the following classes)

CHAIR FIT - Wednesday and Friday at 11:15 - 11:45 - Great for beginners, those with standing or balance problems, those who are easily fatigued, or those in a wheelchair. 

CHAIR X-ERCISE - Monday at 11:15 - 11:45 - Learn range-of-motion, muscles, balance and coordination during this total body workout (sit or stand). Plan to use various resistance tools along with some fun while developing strength, coordination, and balance. 

MMM - Friday at 10:15 - 10:45 - A mix of rhythm, movement, music and drumming combined with choreography for 25 minutes focused on aerobic endurance. Both seated and standing options available. MMM = Music, Memory, Movement

$10 - SPINNING PASS - Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 9:00 - 9:45 - A fun, low-impact indoor cycling class perfect for beginners—go at your own pace while improving fitness, strength, and endurance to upbeat music!

CHAKRA MEDITATION - Monday 11:15 to 1:00, $20 for eight weeks

Barbara Battison will present in-depth information about how Chakras and meditation work. Learn about different ways to take responsibility for your own health. A portion of this class will be spent on meditation and how to activate and keep your chakras balanced. 

  • Increase your awareness of energy and learn:
  • the names and locations of the Chakras
  • how to visualize and meditate
  • about colors, balance, and harmony
  • how to heal your own Chakras for mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing

Fitness Room - open daily

The Exercise Room is open for daily use and contains a treadmill, recumbent bike, hand and leg weights, weight machine, and a strength band wall. The cost is $5 for the month, or free if you have Silver Sneakers, Silver & Fit, or Renew Active (a benefit offered by your Medicare Supplement Insurance). 

Fitness Room Orientations - Wednesday 10:00 - 10:30, FREE

Thirty-minute instruction or assistance for using the weight and cardio equipment in our fitness room.

U of U Exercise and Sports Student Volunteers - Tuesday and Friday 1:00 to 2:00

The students teach a Overall Fitness Class at 1:00-2:00 that can help you improve your fitness levels and increase your endurance, balance, and stretching abilities. They also offer 60-minute, one-on-one Personal Training or 60-minute, group of four Circuit Training. Sign up for this service at the front desk. This program has become one of our most popular classes as participants enjoy improving their fitness skills.

In May, Caitlin Keith from the Deseret News covered our Overall Fitness class and wrote an article "How older adults can stay motivated for regular exercise and physical activity."

Outdoor Pickleball Courts - Monday through Friday 8:00 - 4:00

Pickleball is the most exciting sport sweeping the country. Part tennis, part badminton, and a whole lot of fun. This racquet sport is played on a 20' by 40' court that limits the amount of mobility required to play the game. Our courts are open for those 55+ and are registered members in our computer system and scan each time they come and play.
