Alan F. Van Oostendorp

Detective Alan F. Van Oostendorp died on August 8, 1983 of cancer.

Det Van Oostendorp was a former United State Marine and attended Weber State College for two years.

He started his law enforcement career with West Jordan Police Department.

While working for Murray Police, he worked as a Patrol Officer, was a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) and his last assignment was with the Detective Division.

Detective Van Oostendorp is buried at Mountain View Memorial Estates.
