2025 General Election Results - November 4, 2025 


  • SLCo will publish initial results shortly after 8pm. You can find a link to the results on our 2025 General Election page
  • If voters have questions about the status of their ballot they can call SLCo office (385-468-7400), or they can use the tracking tool at the Lieutenant Governor’s website. Or, they can sign up to receive notifications from BallotTrax
  • All ballots must be turned in to SLCo Elections office by 8pm Tuesday, November 4.  If you have not voted yet please go to an in-person voting center or drop your ballot of in a ballot drop box.

Interested in Running?

Eligibility

  1. Registered voter in Murray City

  2. Resident for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding Election Day

  3. Meet constitutional & statutory requirements (Utah Code §10‑3‑301)

  4. No disqualifying felony convictions (Utah Code §20A‑2‑101.5)

How to File

1.Complete the Declaration of Candidacy form (in person or via approved remote filing if you are out of state).*
2.Submit Conflict‑of‑Interest Disclosure (Utah Code §10‑3‑301.5).
3.Pay the $95 filing fee (Affidavit of Impecuniosity available).
4.File in person with the City Recorder: Murray City Hall – Room 155 10 E 4800 S, Murray UT 84107 
Mon–Fri, 8 AM‑5 PM, June 2–6 2025.

* If you are outside Utah for the entire filing period, you may authorize a single agent and complete filing over live video per Utah Code §20A‑9‑203.

After You File

  • Candidate names posted on the City website within 3 business days.

  • Campaign Finance reports due (schedule provided in packet).

  • Master Ballot Position determined by statewide random alphabet.

Registration Requirements

  • U.S. citizen & Utah resident for 30 days before Election Day

  • 18 years old by Nov 4, 2025

  • Reside in your Murray voting precinct

  1. Online – fastest (requires UT Driver License/ID) → voter.utah.gov

  2. Driver License Division – when obtaining/renewing license → https://dld.utah.gov/

  3. Paper formDownload the PDF or pick up at City Hall 

Vote‑by‑Mail & In‑Person Options for General Election

  • Ballots mailed Oct 14; return by 8 PM Nov 4 via:

    • USPS (postmarked by Nov 3)

    • Secure drop box (open 24/7) – City Hall: 5025 S State St  *NOTE: This is currently located near USPS building on State Street and where the old city hall was.

  • Early Voting centers (Oct 28 – Nov 1) and Election Day Vote Centers (Nov 4) – locations & hours announced Sept 2025.
