What is a Sewer Tap?
Sewer tapping is done by connecting a new line into an existing Murray City Sewer line to create or add new services.
Sewer Tap Requirements.
- All taps on city mains will be performed by Murray City Sewer Employees.
- All Tapping Fees must be paid prior, if they are unpaid the tap will not be scheduled.
- Each "Tap" is an individual charge of $350.00 per Tap.
How do I pay for Sewer Tap Fees?
Sewer Tap Fees may be paid in office at our Public Works office (4646 S 500 W) or paid by phone to one of the Public Works Office Administrators at 801-270-2440.
