About Neighborhood Watch
Neighborhood Watch is program, where citizens, in cooperation with their local law enforcement agency, directly participate in the detection and prevention of crime. The basic concept of Neighborhood Watch is for citizens to observe, and report, suspicious or unlawful activity occurring in their neighborhood. As well as foster a healthy and safe environment in the neighborhoods.
Getting Started
Talk to your neighbors and see if there is any interest. Select a location that will fit the amount of people you anticipate. Officers will give a presentation outlining some things you can do to make your house, and belongings, more secure. We usually need two to three weeks' notice to schedule a meeting.
Please contact Sergeant Paul Christiansen at (801) 264-2673 for more information or to schedule a meeting.
You can obtain information about incidents in your area by contacting the Murray City Police Department Records Crime Analyst.
